Liverpool Reconcilers Regroup Half a Year on from Training with RCF

A group of seven reconcilers all working within the L8 postal code district of Liverpool came together five months after their initial training at Rose Castle to reconnect.

As well as sharing progress since their earlier workshop in October 2021, the group relished the chance to explore the 12 Habits of a Reconciler, discussing the difference between being a mediator and being a reconciler, then sharing ideas on how to apply their learning directly to the L8 context.

The group is supported by RCF’s partners at ‘L8 A Better Place’, a team at the Kuumba Imani Millenium Centre, whose aim is to support people and organisations to transform the L8 postal code area in Liverpool into a better place to live and work.

RCF was also invited to attend a wider L8 community gathering, where the team met changemakers carrying out a wide range of projects for the benefit of the community.

This gathering is part of a larger journey that RCF and L8 A Better Place are going on together. We’re looking forward to hosting the group in Rose Castle for a residential Encounter programme later in 2022.
